Jund Ansar Allah gets shot up in Rafah

This al-Qa'ida fan club in the Gaza Strip has clashed with rival Islamist terrorists Hamas at the Ibn Taymiyah mosque in Rafah, leaving about 14 dead and 120 wounded. Hamas is reporting only one fatality among their personnel. The violence was incited or provoked by the Friday khutbah from the mosque's imam, who is also the head of JAA, called Abdul-Latif Musa alias Abu al-Noor al-Maqdisi.

As far as I know, JAA (formerly Salafi Jihad) had no sponsorship from outside Gaza. But because of its self-conscious imitation of al-Qa'ida, and its nonstop kowtowing to Bin Ladin and the other big Qa'ida names, JAA does have some following among the world's couch jihadis. Their reaction to this news might be worth watching. Qa'ida fans have been on Hamas's case before.

The mainstream press has little to report except what Hamas tells them, but a video of the first part of that khutbah has reached YouTube.

According to Hamas, 21 are now dead and Abdul-Latif Musa is one of them.

JAA's website went down not long after the battle, and now carries only the statement below. The author's main purpose seems to be to contradict Hamas's claims that JAA was planning to bomb some Hamas installations, and that JAA was subordinate to al-Qa'ida. He ends by saying that the group is awaiting a new "emir" (to replace Musa I presume).

ويكفي حركه حماس شرفاً ،، ان ابا عبد الله كان من أهم المطلوبين لإسرائيل وكانت سيرته الجهاديه والعسكرية لامعة

حيث كان يعد جنرالاً في الأمور العسكرية ومتخصصاً في صناعة الطلقات.. وعمل لدي حماس وقدم لديها خبراته أهمها ان اوصل اليهم صالة التدريب بالمحاكاة "السمليشن" التي رأيتم مجاهدي جند انصار الله يتدربون عليهم في إصدارتنا

فكان جزاءه أن قتلوه ، عندما علمو أن جماعة جند انصار الله ستقوى اكثر واكثر علي الساحة وان من يريد ان يجاهد بحق يعلم

ان طريق الديموقراطية والتشريعي والانتخابات والترهات التي تجري بينهم وبين فتح وخلافاتهم الداخلية ليس هي طريق المجاهدين الذي انضموا للقسام لأجله

ومن خلال موقعنا نؤكد رسمياً ونكررها ثانية اننا لم نكن ننوى ان نفجر اي مقر امني او نهاجم اي عنصر من حماس كما ذكر المدعو فتحى حماد

The propaganda hub for the Egyptian side of al-Qa'ida, Hani al-Siba'i al-Londonistani, laments the elimination of his fellow bloodthirsty megalomaniac Abdul-Latif Musa, and condemns Hamas for deviating from its original Ikhwan manifesto.

In summary, Jund Ansar Allah was a bunch of local al-Qa'ida wannabes. Various other interests are spinning the group this way and that to fit their own agendas, but in the end JAA was nothing. Those rabble could all still be in the Ibn Taymiyah mosque, screaming their prayers for genocide around the world, and suckholing to Bin Ladin and Zarqawi just as so many other couch jihadis do. But their fantasies got the better of them, and they challenged Hamas, and they were dead within hours at the hands of the "resistance".

Training of fighters at al-Emam University denied
The Office Director of Sheik Abdul-Majid al-Zindani, Rector of al-Eman University denied allegations made by some Yemeni websites that there is an open camp to train Jihadi fighters at the University.

“The University is an educational institution which practices only its educational activities, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education. With regard to the allegations concerning voluntary camps for Jihadis, this is not our responsibility, it is the responsibility of the governments of all Arab and Islamic countries to do their duty according to the Islamic Law to defend the oppressed people in Gaza”, said Dr.Ismeal al-Sohaily- Office Director of the Rector of al-Emam University.

Al-Sohaily hailed the calls from President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who called for the opening of training camps for youth to be trained to fight the Israeli’s in Gaza. “We call on them to do their duty. We hail the position of the President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who called for the opening of camps for fighters, and we also hail the position of Libyan President Muammar al-Gaddafi, who has called for the same”, said Dr.Ismeal al-Sohaily.

Some websites in Yemen have reported the existence of training camps at al-Emam University to prepare volunteer fighters for combat in Gaza, and claimed that these camps are supported by Iran and Qatar. President Saleh has called this week for an Islamic Summit to deal with the ongoing crisis in Gaza, and to stop the Israeli atrocities and end the unjustified siege against Palestinians in Gaza. He has also called for increasing pressure on Israel to abide by international law.

Al-Oufi was one of two former Saudi detainees at Guantanamo, the U.S. military prison in Cuba, who resurfaced last week in video clips as al Qaeda fighters in Yemen. Their identities were confirmed in recent days by a U.S. counterterror official. Al-Oufi was detainee number 333 at Guantanamo.

They claim to be the leadership of a reconstituted AQAP with the more modern form of the name, using "qa'idat-al-jihad" or "base of jihad" instead of the original name "al-qa'ida" or "the base".

إلى الضابط المصري البائس الذي ذهب في حظِّ سايكس بيكو وطاعة غير الله

لقد آلمنا أن يذهب مثلُكَ في طاعة غير الله بعد أن رفعت سلاحك في وجه شقيقك الفلسطيني الذي آوى إليك فرارا مما يلقى من عدوك وعدوه، على رجاء أن يجد منك ما كان يلقاه من أمثالك الغياري على شرف العروبة وعز الإسلام فإذا بك تشهر السلاح في وجهه فتقتله وأنت له ظالم طاعة لأوامر جائرة، وتعليمات فاجرة، فرخص دمُك، لأنه كما قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا طاعة في المعصية" وضاعت في الضلال حياتك، لأنك لاَعنْ عروبة كنت مدافعا،ولا لدين كنت عاملا، "والمسلم أخو المسلم، لايظلمه ولايخذله، بحسب امرئ من الشر أن يحقر أخاه المسلم كلُّ المسلم على المسلم حرام، دمه، وعرضه، وماله"، قتلت أخاك على حقه فذهب شهيدا، لأنَّ من قُتِل دون ماله فهو شهيد، ومن قتل دون عرضه فهو شهيد" ثم قُتِلْتَ أنت في غايةٍ رخيصة، هي الدفاع عن حدود وضع خطوطها الكافرون، الذين قسَّموا أرضنا بما عرف بالمجرمين سايكس بيكو، لينفردوا بنا واحدا بعد الآخر، وأرضنا في دين الله واحدة، فإذا بك تسقط فيما سقط فيه ساسة الحزب الذين حادوا الله ورسوله، فاستجاروا بأعدائهم من أوليائهم وإخوانهم،فذهبت حياتك في غير شرف، وقُتِلت قَتْلَ الصائل، فقد أخرج النسائي واحمد بسند صحيح عن أبي هريرة قال: جاء رجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يارسول الله ،أرايتَ إنْ عُدِىَ على مالي؟ قال: "َانْشُدِ الله"، قال: فإن أَبواْ عليَّ؟ قال "انشُدِ الله"، قال: فإن أبوْا عليَّ، قال:"فانشُدِ الله"،قال :فإن أبوا عليَّ؟ قال صلى الله عليه وسلم" فقاتل، فإن قُتِلتَ ففي الجنة، وإن قَََتلْتَ ففي النار".

وعليه :

فإننا نُحذِّر كّلَّ جنديٍّ وضابط من جنود مصر أن يخسروا شرفهم الفريد بأن يندفعوا في إطاعة الأوامر الصادرة إليهم بغير أن يعرضوها على دينهم وقلوبهم ،فإنه لاطاعة في المعصية، وليست حياة واحدٍ منكم بأغلى من حياة إخوانكم المستضعفين وغير المستضعفين الفلسطينيين، والمسلمون أمة واحدة، يسعى بذمتهم أدناهم، وهم يد على من سواهم" وحتى لاتخسروا الدنيا والآخرة.

وإلى الموظفين من بعض الشيوخ الذين لايزالون يلزمون جانب الصمت، ويخرصون خرص القبور، فرضوا لعمائمهم أن تكون على أصنام، إنَّ سِمَنَ الكيس ونُبْلَ الذِّكرِ لا يجتمعان.
